The logic of radical Islam is beyond what the progressive West will ever fathom or be able to comprehend. It is difficult for any sensible person to understand why a country that is paying such a devastating price (Iran) is unable to accept a generous surrender agreement, but rather insists on fighting on and on.
The fact is that the Islamic Shiite mindset carries the logic of a suicide bomber. If the choice is to wrestle for points and survive the fight, or go for a knockout and die a martyr’s death, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and its masters prefer the second option. The Jihadi-minded Muslim is fully committed to serving its moon god, Allah, and no amount of humanistic arguments or efforts will change that deep-seated conviction. Pray to the Lord to appear to them and save their souls.
Progressive countries are incapable of winning wars, Israel included, and the Iranians understand this very well. They recognize the American economic and political frailty, and their war policy is very simple: blackmail the world’s economy and wait until Trump is out and a more progressive American administration rises to power.
The Iranian Mullahs know that Israel and the US could easily destroy all of Iran’s oil production and export infrastructure along with its power plants, dams, bridges, and communications. They understand that while Israel and the US cannot overthrow their radical Islamic regime, they can destroy the Iranian State. In such a case, when the population is starving and the elite cannot pay for or control their armed forces any longer, an internal uprising is only a matter of time, leading to a regime change.
The Iranians understand this very well, and that is why their ballistic missiles are targeting everyone in the region, EXCEPT ISRAEL. Why? Because they are afraid of Israel’s wrath. While the Mullahs trust that American interests will never allow for a merciless and total warfare, they know that Israel, if backed into a corner, will not be bound by global opinions or economic considerations. The rules changed on Oct 7, 2023, and this “season of war” that we were forced into will not end with another meaningless paper agreement. Should the Middle East reach a genuine season of peace in our days, we believe that it will be the last peace the earth will know before the coming of the Lord.
THIS IS THE SITUATION TODAY:
The Iranians are drawing the US into a continuous limited state of war in hopes of undermining what is left of President Trump’s popularity and legitimacy. They plan on a limited yet extended military campaign that will maintain pressure on the Straits of Hormuz, blackmail the global economy, and buy them time to resupply with Russian and Chinese support. However, as with any war, the situation is dynamic and can explode beyond control overnight.
ISRAEL IS ON HIGH ALERT and ready to respond should we get hit again. Personally, we don’t think that we will pass through this summer without a major escalation, so our in-home bomb shelter (used as my home office) is clean and ready to shelter the entire family should ballistic missiles explode overhead again. If Prime Minister Begin had asked America’s permission before striking Iraq’s nuclear program in 1981, Iraq would have become a nuclear terror state just like North Korea is today. Nothing has changed since then.
Personally, I think that Israel needs to send the Iranian terror state back to the Stone Age, with or without American support, and Israel is capable of doing so. How do I know that? Because if that weren’t true, we would be in our bomb shelters by now. God’s will be done, God’s Kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.
